AUGUST 2010 Issue of YOUTH NEWS LOCAL now available - Youth News Local 

CHILD PROTECTION TRAINING – VYS is once again running one day Level 2 Child Protection Training.  The course aims to define child protection, looks at signs of abuse and neglect and provide information on reporting strategies. The course will help you recognise and know what to do if you believe a child is at risk.  There will be a small charge of £10 per candidate (non refundable) and dates are as follows: 

25 September 2010 in Exeter

13 November 2010 in Barnstaple

11 December 2010 in Newton Abbot

22 January 2011 in Tiverton

12 February 2011 in Exeter
