ARKLETON TRUST
was founded in 1977 “to study new approaches to rural development and education’. The John Higgs Fund assists groups focusing on development, community or educational projects outside schools in rural areas. Organisations it assists tend to be either struggling to start, planning to develop in new areas, or seeking to evaluate their work. As well as providing grants, the Trust seeks to assist organisations in identifying mentors and guides for the organisations it funds. For more information about the Trust and its criteria ring 05404.72892 e-mail arkleton@enstoneuk.demon.co.uk or see www.enstoneuk.demon.co.uk/arkleton/higgs.html
