REVOLUTION 08
19th, 20th & 21st September REVOLUTION 08: A Volunteering Festival for 16 - 25 year olds in the South West being run by the National Trust - the National Trust is hosting its first ever youth focused volunteering festival. It aims to attract more than 300 young people from across the South West to take part in a big conservation challenge (to carry out two years’ worth of forest clearance in one day) and also to celebrate young people's contributions through volunteering. The event is being organised by a core group of 14 young people and is taking place near Exeter, staying at an established campsite. The festival is FREE, there's going to be live music and entertainment as well as great local and seasonal food provided. They are hoping to attract groups of young people from all across the region whether they volunteer already or not (youth workers / support staff are invited too!). It's a great opportunity to for people to have fun, do something different, and celebrate young people's achievements.
