Can a local business help and support your organisation
Exeter CVS is running this FREE morning seminar (9-11 am). The growing pressure on businesses by Government to be more responsible about their local community, known as CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) presents a golden opportunity for voluntary and community sector organisations to benefit from partnership with local businesses. In this seminar Sarah Aston from Community Links will
• explain what CSR is and give practical help on how to develop a sustainable, fruitful relationship with a local business;
• consider what needs your voluntary group and client group have and how a local business may be able to help with those needs e.g. perhaps you need help with applying for funding or legal advice, or simply need a large room for your AGM;
• develop a practical action plan.
