GIRLGUIDING DEVON
Numbers in Guiding continue to grow, and with more adult leaders we would be able to accommodate even more of the hundreds of girls who would like to join. There is an amazing range of activities provided every week in over 440 Units for girls aged 5 to 25 throughout the county.
The Rainbows are for ages 5-9 years, Brownies aged 7-10 years and for girls from 10 to 25 there is Guides.
Girlguiding continues to offer such a wide range of experiences for all its members, and this will expand even more as the Association heads towards its centenary in 2010. Taking Devon forward will be Mrs Sue Bullock from Torbay, who took over as County Commissioner in April 2008. Sue uses her expertise and enthusiasm to ensure Girlguiding remains dynamic, relevant and an attractive option to girls and women in all corners of Devon.
