Who Can Join VYS Devon
To become Full members of VYS (Devon) you must fulfil the following criteria:
- be a voluntary / community organisation that provides social and educational opportunities for young people aged 10 to 25. This will include self-governing voluntary youth organisations, youth sections of other agencies and local youth groups.
- support VYS's charitable purposes and subscribe to its values and aims (see our membership charter).
- although organisations accepted into membership will normally be registered charities this is not an absolute requirement. However if an organisation is not a registered charity its aims, objects and methods of working should be stated in a document that is available for public inspection.
Individual membership is open to any individual (over the age of 16) who supports VYS's charitable purposes and subscribes to its values and aims.
