Safe Systems quality assurance scheme
NCVYS has recently launched this introductory level award for safeguarding children and young people. This is a nationally recognised quality assurance scheme which recognises good working practice in safeguarding children and young people in youth and community settings. Organisations submit evidence of how they meet set standards and these are then checked by NCVYS staff and if found satisfactory accreditation, which lasts for two years, is given.
